The trails are old
The forest deep
The snows getting deeper but
I got batwings for my feet
I wonder if up on Ozark mountain
Is a star
It's up so high
I've walked so far
Mother somethings in control
There must be something in the deep
That makes the whole thing go
I can remember counting sheep
And when you count that last one
You were suddenly asleep
I don't know why my troubles quake
There must be something wrong
There must be a mistake
But up on Ozark mountain
Things look O.K.
Have you ever seen the view
From the north face?
Ten miles from the apex
Exhilarating
Have you seen the view
From the western ridge?
Don't slip-careful
I'm gonna do what I was told
I'm gonna make it to the top
And reach my goal
No one can tell you about that
It's what you see when there's no limit
On top of Ozark mountain
Holy shit
I thought the sun was going down
But this mountains higher then
This worlds round
Now that I've made it to the top
Nothing to do but jump off
